Ground Preparation

We mark where we will build the stone wall construction. Next, we sort the stones in piles based on size. We then clear and level the marked land.
Lay Foundations

Our team digs a trench approximately 1ft in depth. This will hold the large foundation stones. We lay these flat and pack gaps with smaller stones
Build Layers

Using an A-frame for guidance, we build traditional stone walls in an A shape. Layering up on both sides, we carefully place each stone.
Maintain Stability

To keep the wall stable, we fill gaps between larger stones with smaller filling stones. We also integrate ‘through stones’ at regular intervals

For the finishing touches, we create a final layer using top, cap or coping stones. These are large, flat stones with a rounded top. Having reached the desired height, we stand the top stones upright, pressing them tightly together. They span the width of the wall.
